Pricing is based on the actual number of people that attend the event. We anticipate that final attendee numbers may change and bring extra supplies just in case. We setup based on the number of anticipated attendees, Setup for 4+ people who no show will result in an additional $10 fee per seat to pay for setup and supplies. We cannot guarantee supplies for excessive extra attendees. If less than 10 people attend, the event holder is responsible for covering the cost of missing people to meet the $250 minimum,
Final payment is due the day of the event by cash or check made out to "Mix It Up Painting." Your deposit will be electronically refunded within 24 hours after the event.
Collecting money beforehand may secure better attendance. For your convenience, we can provide online registration for your group to make things easier. We suggest not offering your attendees the discounted price breaks unless you are positive that your attendance will be over the minimum amount. Plus, if you have a little extra money leftover perhaps it could go towards food and drinks!
Final attendee numbers are due 48 hours in advance. We bring extra supplies just in case. Extra attendee setup will result in a later start time.
We will arrive about an hour before to setup and bring everything you need for painting. Please have tables and chairs setup before we arrive. Long rows of tables work best. Please note we do not provide food or drinks.
Please ask your painters to arrive at least 15-30 minutes early so that we will be ready to paint and party at the start time. We do not mind pushing back the start time due to unforeseen circumstances or extra time needed for additional setup. We can usually adjust the instruction to accommodate for a shorter paint time however, this may effect the quality of the finished paintings.
If your instructors are available to stay longer than the scheduled time it may be possible to push back the start time however, any event starting a half hour later or or lasting more than a half hour longer will result in the loss of the deposit to pay for the extended amount of time.
Cancellations/reschedules must be made 5 days prior to the event. The $50 deposit may be used towards a rescheduled event but will not be refunded for cancellations.
Mix it Up Painting reserves the right to cancel sessions due to bad weather or unforeseen circumstances. In such a case, you will be notified at least 3 hours prior to the paint event. You will receive a 100% refund for events cancelled by Mix It Up Painting.
Price-match guarantee is for Akron area comparable businesses offering private painting parties with online per person pricing only. Mix It Up Painting's $250 minimum per event still applies. Please email website link for proof of pricing.
We want to respect your privacy. During painting events we take photos that we may post to our Facebook page and website. We reserve the right to use any of these photos for promotional materials/purposes unless you notify us that you do not want your picture taken.
